procrastination of not wanting to do exams...
Remember when you made a necklace
Out of the gum you were chewing
And it got stuck in your hair
And mum had to cut it?
And remember the time
When you hid behind the bush
On the side of the road
When it was dark
And watched the truck go past
Because you liked the thrill
Of being so close
To the roaring of the engine
Climbing its way through you
As you sat behind branches
Gazing at the many lights?
Remember when you sat
Procrastinating
On the computer
When you were meant to be studying
For those exams
In a few days time
And how you were going to go along
With the government system
Be given a number
Get credits so you can be
Qualified
And get a good job
Because that is what is required of you?
Remember?
