We are who we are, we shouldn't change that for anyone
Many people see me
As something I am not
They eye me as a begger
They eye me as distraught

The names I've been called
Are meant to bring me down
The ridicules and catcalls
A stone to my crown

Many people see me
As something I am not
I am who I am
I'll be who I'll be
I dont fit a mold
And I don't open with a key

But when I feel I'm ready
I'll open that door myself
And stand upon my two feet
easily and steady

But until that day is here
And I have left the nest
Don't question who I am
Don't put me to the test.
