poem of my thoughts
Can't Fall
I can take off this hat
I can take off this hair
I can't take off this skin
And that is what I can't bare
So I create a spell
I create a tune
And I fall into this over critical loom

My soul is aged as fine as wine
But this skin is new
And as innocent as the first cry

I see through the mist
I see myself out the door
And I create a storm
That will forever be in your core

I love
I see
In the darkness they bury me
With this pain
I will remain

So lock your doors
Throw away the key
Close your window
And forever be rid of me

But if they are open
I'll venture in
And share tea with my forever friend

Time heals
New wounds come
But the soul never forgets
What it wants
And has lost

I'm still here
Because I'm incomplete
In a herse
My mind is free
But in this world
I am bound
With chains and shackles
I am found

You have the key
That will set me free
You hold the door
Open for me
In the light I will step
To adventure to a new set

I act away my pride this day
But in your eyes
I am sane

Till the end
I will charish you
Till the end
I'll never bury these thoughts

Some happy
Some cold
In the darkness I take hold
Birthed by pain
I am insane
Birthed by reason
I can claim
To love whats lost
Is not to be a fool
But to be true to this everlasting rule
Nothings gone
Not to these hands
With reason
I am a man
Of the age of 16
I still know
All about this loving code

Liver of past lives
Taker of many pains
Is it cool to be this way?
In these eyes...
I will never die

So I ask you now
To not hold your peace
Speak your mind
And never bury me

This poem is reason
It isn't meant to rhyme

To some
To many
I did no crime

All I did
Was love a life
Live a life
And I can say
I've never been this way

It can go on
But I'll end it now
With you in my mind
I will fly home
To a kingdom
Where the angles play
