A temptation poem I wrote for Creative Writing class; it rhymes and is catchy :)
Come walk with me in the sweet moonlight
You’ll feel free; you’ll drink up the sight.
I need some company, so don’t you see,
How great it’d be if you walked with me?

The night is a rose; the moon is its petal,
It will not take long for our hearts to settle.
If you can truly hold trust deep and within,
Perhaps we'll walk through the thick and thin.

I promise if you do this, you won’t regret
The beautiful scenes, and the time we’ve spent.
We’ll walk by the lake, and go wherever you say,
See the darkest of hours, and the beauty of May.

I promise to lead you for half of the time,
Only if you’ll put your hand in mine,
And if you lead me through the other half,
I will make you smile and compose your laugh.

So come with me, if you’ll have the pleasure
To embark on such an extraordinary endeavor
My feet are anxious windmills, ready to twist,
If you don’t come with me, you will be missed.
