I’ll Stand My Ground

I’ll stand my ground,
Till it runs out,
And I’ll state my case;
In every place,
Till I’m heard out,
Without a doubt,
I will not pout or poke about;
No, I’ll shout and shout,
Till I’m heard out;
I’m alive, I’m here,
I’m a person,
Not an object,
To be tossed about,
Like an old rag doll;
I’m a person, a human,
That’s what I’m all about
I'll stand my ground, no doubt!
