Wondering depressed thoughts
I flinch away in distress;
To your fingerless guiding hand.

A spike deeply pricks the flesh;
Jolting me; falsely re-animates my body.

Even pain can’t make me feel alive;
Instead it reminds me of my perished soul.

Can’t fill passion to an empty spirit;
Can’t fight the tears that are not in the eyes.

Running, sprinting, fleeing for miles;
I stop to rest and find myself where I started.

The world will not see my tears of need;
Because this merciless world has its back to me.

The deadly comfort of an addictive kiss;
Becomes a deep burning scar piercing into the heart.

The lack of warmth and desire in life;
Is a swallowing hole of experience and loneliness.
