A new look at a storm and weather.
The sky darkens as if it were night,
A chill rides in on the wind,
The clouds circle like vultures to a corpse.
Filled with anger and darkness.
Thunder rumbles and roars as the beast approaches.

Lightning flashes and strikes as the beast tramples closer
The wind gusts as the beast breathes onto the earth.
Trees shake and try to run as if prey to this monster
Rain pours down from the creature
As if drool, sweat, or maybe blood.

But soon the rain lightens,
The lightning ceases
And the thunder slowly becomes quiet
As the beast moves on.

As the beast leaves the battlefield,
Nature sighs with relief.
The trees and animals rebuild their lives.
For the struggle is over,
For Now.
