another day, another page.
The light is thick and golden
As dust on butterfly wings
Dewdrops sparkle on petals bright
Like natural diamonds of Kings

A hush decends across the shore
Silence as time hesitates
Icy fingers seep through to skin
Unknown forces the future dictate

Tension strangles as dark clouds crowd
Sharp knives from heaven sting
Lightning crashes and froth bubbles forth
Trees tremble with skies rumbling

A single ray of sunlight breaks free
Forces hope throught the gloom and pain
Another page of memories written
And a rainbow to remember the rain.
