Musings of life.
Shotgun writing and finished product….

Why sometimes do we cry I cry? In the morning sun just peeking in..shades down but not far enough….are there any shades that kept he sun from coming end? Shades of different colors… laughing .. hazy shade of winter … cold winter.. grass white with frost…it looks like snow but its not .. fake snow like ski resorts have to use..fake snow fake people fake emotions…it all melts tumbles down into a puddle a giant puddle where you could get lost in the jumping…everyone like a good jump in a puddle..they say you can not control your facial expression when you jump…have some one take a picture of you jumpin…maybe you will find a smile? (this is unedited, a blast of thought, typos and all. THe finished product is the poem below.)

Shade Of Winter

I pull the shade

To dull the ache

In my head I am lost

I pull the shade

To dull the fake

It could be the change

Seasonal

Like the song

Hazy Shade Of winter

Maybe when the thaw comes

the grass is green again

there will be puddles

Instead of frozen

Barrenness

I will

Draw

The shade

And

smile
