Can you imagine being an eye-witness to Jesus' crucifixion?
I WAS THERE...

I was there when He stood before lesser men,
who accused Him of crimes He'd not done;
I knew He was sinless and innocent,
But I said a word to no one

I was there as He struggled to carry His cross,
as darkness clouded the sun;
I heard His cries as nails tore at His flesh,
But I said a word to no one

I was there when they taunted and teased Him,
and cast lots for His garments in fun;
I saw Him sweat great drops of blood,
But I said a word to no one

I was there to hear His last anguished cry
and when it was finished and done;
I followed as He was carried to His tomb,
But I said a word to no one

I was there waiting with the others
when the women ran shouting, "Come!"
"He arose just like He promised!"
But I said a word to no one

I was there when He again walked amongst us
When He stood on the beach alone
I saw the light that flowed from our Lord
But I said a word to no one

Today, I live a "Christian" life
I love and worship God's Son
I think of sharing this Truth with others
But I say a word to no one

Sometimes I wonder; when I stand at His throne;
when my time on this earth is done;
Will He speak up for me to the Father?
Or will He say a word to no one?
