Being used and feeling degraded
Tarnished

Watch me, as I blindly invest so much in you.
I’ll do whatever you want, oh how I love being used.

Keep kissing me gently,
Maybe you’ll win over my heart.
But you know you’ve always had it, go ahead and rip it apart.

You know exactly what you need to do, just to have your way,
You’re the blood hungry predator, and I’m your beautiful tarnished prey.

I’ll pretend I don’t know your dirty little secrets.
And you’ll pretend this is okay
I just want you leave me alone, please, just go away

Look at the time; I guess you better go,
Move your car fast, wouldn’t want anyone to know.

You’ve stolen my heart and you’ve stolen my will,
I watch you walk away my tears begin to spill.

I tell myself this is the last time; I won’t make myself your whore
But in my heart there’s a place for you and I know you’ll come back for more.
