a poem about the idea of halos and hell, specifically of a halo that was adopted...
The purchase of a golden halo could be a mistake:
It might shift position as you bounce on a trampoline,
And as you jump it may taste you -
Soon developing an appetite for your flesh -
And suck the skin right off your bones.
Halos can grow teeth you know.

With bones left in a worthless pile on a prostitute trampoline,
The halo will fold your skin into a nice parachute,
And maybe pocket the complimentary essence.
In the midst of its new parachute,
It will easily glide down through valleys and pits.
Lower, lower, and lower until it finds its new address.
Halos can be adopted you know.
