This story is based loosely around Nightwish's song Nemo.
Nemo
This is me for forever
One of the lost ones
The one without a name
Without an honest heart as compass

This is me for forever
One without a name
These lines the last endeavour
To find the missing lifeline

Oh how I wish
For soothing rain
All I wish is to dream again
My loving heart
Lost in the dark
For hope I'd give my everything

My flower
Withered between
The pages two and three
The once and forever bloom gone with my sins

Walk the dark path
Sleep with angels
Call the past for help
Touch me with your love
And reveal to me my true name

Oh how I wish
For soothing rain
All I wish is to dream again
My loving heart
Lost in the dark
For hope I'd give my everything

Oh how I wish
For soothing rain
Oh how I wish to dream again
Once and for all
And all for once
Nemo my name forever more

Nemo sailing home
Nemo letting go

Oh how I wish
For soothing rain
All I wish is to dream again
My loving heart
Lost in the dark
For hope I'd give my everything

Oh how I wish
For soothing rain
Oh how I wish to dream again
Once and for all
And all for once
Nemo my name forever more

Nemo my name forever more

By Nightwish

Her name was Faye. Faye, the strange girl with the dark hair and pale skin. The one with the emerald eyes. Faye, her namesake the fairies of old, the mischief makers of lore. This was Faye, and yet this was not her at all. In fact, Faye took after her namesake only very little. Confrontations of any sort frightened her immensely, and so she stayed on the outside of society, except when absolutely necessary. Faye had celebrated her nineteenth birthday last week, as usual, by herself, in the little room she rented from the man downstairs. She didn't know his name, or care to, for that matter. As long as Faye managed to get him rent, she was safe here. The room was tiny, even for her, but she didn't mind. It suited her purpose as a place she could run to. Somewhere safe.
In any case, she had to abandon her safety today. Absolutely must, if she was going to continue living in any suitable fashion. What little pantry she had was empty, and she needed sustenance.
