All the fun things to remember about Christmas.
A toasty fire inside the hearth
Dancing flames providing warmth
Flashing lights upon the tree
Children’s hearts filled with glee

Singing carols around the fire
Youthful fun that does not tire
Mugs of cocoa wafting steam
A Christmas star emits a gleam

Inside the oven a turkey roasts
On a frozen lake a skater coasts
A snowman guards the entryway
Beneath the tree the presents lay

Mistletoe is hung above the door
Impatient children are wanting more
Candy hidden in colorful tins
Displaying chocolate coated grins

Christmas dreams from long ago
Hearing Santa’s Ho,Ho,Ho
Memories of a Christmas past
In my heart will always last
