My gypsy man, you say you are...
My gypsy man, you say you are
Living neither here nor there, not near or far
Does this mean I can't have you, you won't love me for long
You travel with the wind, like a robin's song
Like the roar of an engine, you slowly fade away
Can I live without you, for even a day
Can I love you for now, and when you are gone
Can I cry knowing, with you is where I belong
The touch of your hand, the warmth of your kiss
There are too many things about you, I know I would miss
The way your kiss lingers, and warms up my skin
The joy that you bring me, I cannot even begin
To describe all the feelings, could take days
All I can pray, God, is that he stays
With me forever, in my heart and dreams
Because he won't be here fre long, at least so it seems
But I will patiently wait, until he knows that he loves me
And there is nowhere on Earth, that he would rather be.
