How do I love ==
Will you be my Valentine,
Will you be forever mine?

New Years come, they go so fast
Never knowing, which will be the last.

Heart grows fonder, days grow shorter
We build our lives, no brick nor mortar.

Grasp we will, the straws of time,
Slip they will, both yours and mine.

Know this thing and know it well,
My love for you always in my heart to dwell.

No kids, no cats or curly dog,
Could change my mind, or bring me fog.

Tis you I love and you alone,
My love, my life is yours to own.

Spend it well, this mortal trust,
One life to give, and give I must.

Gladly I place upon your trusting hand,
My one true gift; our wedding band.

In sight of God, in sight of man,
We stand together, go hand in hand.

For in the end it’s all we have,
No thing to hold, nor healing salve.

T‘was meant to be, no doubts or fears,
We stand as one throughout the years.

No matter the joy, no matter the woe,
Down life’s path, each step we’ll go.

Will you be my Valentine,
Will you be forever mine?
