a poem I wrote my senior year in highschool as a tribute to my Grandfather
Swing low ,Swing low sweet chariot of mine
Youv'e come forth to carry me home

I had a will ,I had a way
Christ called me home this very day
I' ve been carried away ,carried away

To Me he beckoned to me he called
I took four steps and then I stalled
and, turned to look back,Just once more
yes I saw the pain deep in your hearts core

I saw all the tears that you cried
Rivers and rivers the day I died

But I want you to know that I'm alright
and this mansion of ours,oh what a sight

I must go now He's calling my name
so I love you my dear ones, you were a blessing to me
and soon you to will see

beauties and wonders of this glorious place
and in that day you'll see Jesus' face

So take care of your Mother ,Grandma ,and Friend
Right up until the very end

When you take care of her your caring for me
Remember that here in my heart you always will be

He's calling me home now I must go
so swing low sweet chariot swing low!
