      "Alexander, ALEXANDER! Where did you go my dear boy?" I could hear my

grandmother's silk like voice wafting through the night summer air to me in the

fields. I just loved to watch the lightening-bugs dance in a sporadic fashion casting

the warmth of their light upon me.

        " Coming grandmother!" As I walked back through the field I could feel the

smooth sensation of the grassbetween my toes. For as long as I could remember I

loved to lay in grandmothers field after I had finished chores. It seemed to calm me

down and I used this time alone as a way to sorta center my energy and think

about my parents. As a 7 year-old my father left my mother and I in the night.

Though my mother didn't know it he had come into my room before he left and he
