Written for a close friend
A true friend is like
a bud, ready to bloom.
Its true identity lies within
the embryo of its creation.
Hidden there, none can see,
the true beauty it bestows,
until, at last, its unveiling.

There is nothing more precious
than the heart of friendship.
It is through its embrace
that we bloom and grow.
Like a bud, opening up,
the beauty of a friend
can not help, but overflow.
