A poem about a girl in my life.
I love your eyes,
Though they don’t tell me who you are.
Your pretty lies,
Your smile.

I miss your warmth,
Though it burned my skin, and my heart.
Your love,
Your kiss.

I hate the distance,
Though the distance is not our problem.
The ignorance,
The hopelessness.

I need you,
Though it is you I can’t have.
Your hand,
In mine.

Your head on my shoulder,
That is something I have not felt in a while.
Your dancing,
Your laughing.

You’re not here,
But even though you’re far away,
I still feel,
Your presence everyday.
