A poem I wrote about five years ago. I still love it even if it is a bit choppy.
Solace

In my dreams I wander.
Far from night and far from day.
In a ethereal silence
That keeps the world at bay.

And its here I find my Solace
From the pain of the day before.
Where thoughts and shadows Coalesce.
Where all of me is stored.

And as the daylight strikes my face.
I shudder for I wake.
Torn away from this place.
Its almost more then I can take.

But once more I gather around me.
My mask of smile and cheer.
All happiness is what you see.
Never a care or fear.

Not knowing that I wander.
In the silence
All alone.
