poem about psychosis and rage - from my experiences of dealing with PTSD
The sleaper

beuty lies in chaos but can we take the pain,
I whisper as I lie here bound up in my chain,
Crying for a lonely fate, tears falling like the rain,
Of What Ive seen and what Ive done and What I'll do again,

Torn within a shattered scream,
Again I wake within my dream,
The sleeper hides another face,
A beast within a veil of lace,

I stare into the pool of night,
My body still My soul takes flight,
I see myself as I used to be,
A pale reflection of reality,

My only light the moon and stars,
The beast lies coiled behind my bars,
Soon the sleeper shall awake,
Soon the bars of my mind shall break,

I cannot run from that within,
The hunter rises born of sin,
With bloody hands I fuel my pain,
This night the hunt begins again.
