About being with someone you probably shouldn't be with, but you are drawn to them anyway.
Severed Lives

Two individual contact
and connect in a world
wrought with disconnection;
each fighting a magnetism
stronger than themselves.
But, the connection is wrong
as each attempts the severing;
the ties always retying,
open wounds, closing
as the poles once again attract.
But this time,
this time the severed connection is deep,
each person pulling
in a separate direction,
both consciously willing
the wound into fatality.
Can it be that time
will demagnitize the connection
instead of strengthening it?
Or will the wound heal completely
leaving room
for a new break?
