I wrote this poem when I saw superficial people on t.v.
Reflection

That Mirror on the wall shows a reflection

She is standing so proud and tall

A pretty girl that lost the pony tails

And blossomed into a gorgeous temptress

She likes her body she stares in the mirror

Like a butterfly out of the cocoon

Ready flaunt its wings by flying so freely

But what is given up in exchange for that beauty?

On the other side of that mirror that hangs so highly on the wall

Is a world parallel to her own

The girl in the mirror is not the same girl at all

I see deep within her spoiled soul

I feel her conscious, see her thoughts and even

Hear her little black heart beat with excitement

That girl is excited because she is beginning to feed

She is a monster; the grim reaper is terrified to utter her name

She seductively collects souls when she breathes her breath

She feels no fear because she is fear herself

She twists men’s minds by taking a quick glance

That girl that stands so proud in the mirror

So beautiful, elegant, and suave

Is that who you really want to be?

Conveted beauty will ruin you skin deep.
