I'm a total wolf lover and this poem is about how I think people treat them.
My poor little silver wolf
You must be quiet, you musn't make a sound
Hunters have come for you, my little wolf
And with their guns, they will track you down

Run, Run far away
Turn away now and never look back
With people here, this is not the place to stay
They will surely shot you with a smack

Your life may never be the same
You may always be on the run
If only this were just a game
Where there is never a gun

My friend, you must now find a place to sleep
For now the sun falls from the sky
But only if you make no peep
You will stay in this by and by

In the morning, the day just repeats the one before
You must run all day to save your life
Everyday turns into a bore
That includes everyday since the ninth

More hunters are coming from far away lands
To track your soft warm fur
They will wear your fur upon their hands
But that's all they'll use, they'll take nothing but your fur

But now I must say goodbye and good luck
For I must leave you for awhile
But I would give many a buck
To keep you from running that extra mile

Goodbye, my little silver wolf
I wish you great luck to win your battle
Stay proud and strong little wolf
For you have the spirit to win many a battle
