Struggling with faith.
I try to dance for Jesus
I trip over my own feet
I can't quite catch the rhythm
I can't quite feel the beat

I try to dance for Jesus
I'm afraid to dance alone
I fear others who stare at me
I stand as still as stone

I try to dance for Jesus
I don't know all the moves
I'm not supposed to dance, I fear
My clumsiness this proves

If I can't dance for Jesus
Perhaps I'll sing instead
I can't quite hear the melody
Through the voices in my head

How can you sing for Jesus
How can you worship His grace
Your voice is weak and whiny
Singing distorts your face

I need to dance for Jesus
I need to praise His name
I need to sing for Jesus
I need to shout His fame

I want to cry for Jesus
I want to apologize
Is my version of worship
Good enough in His eyes

Enter my heart, dear Jesus
Help me to sing for You
Enter my soul and spirit
My faith and hope renew
