a girl that I thought I'd never seen again, but then she one day calls me
I've got more reason to breathe
Since  I heard your voice again
And as the state of pain
slowly slips away

I wonder

Is this worth it
I must know
If it's futile
Is it infantile
Or do I have a corroded
Point of view
Questions remain
I'll ask again
When your voice
Is there

Is it worth the wear
To stand in the rain
Listening for something
That isn't there
I'll ask again
When your voice
Is there
