A poem about the biggest decision in life.
The Big Question

"Love is a battlefield," my mother whispers to me,
Her voice licks the air.
The room whirls as I fall to one knee
And I know this is why I am there.

I feel as if I'm on a cliff,
For all the world, a show.
I have always wondered if
We truly know
What love really is.
