I feeling that never leaves
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Winter is on my mind.
Cinnamon tea and peppermint
Fill my mind with thoughts of snow and love
I cannot hold back my excitement for you now
For you,
Who knows who you are?
I don’t, you are whatever comes my way
Pass by or stay awhile and ill share
My tea and my stories with you
Until winter fills the minds of every man.

Mmmm.... walking on fresh fallen snow in bare feet and a big sweatshirt.

Mother always said dont
Forget you hat or you'll end up cold
Take off the hat just to be silly and find
That she was right

I used to think that the people who drove the plows
Slept all year till is snowed
And the first snow of the year always was there
The next day because the plow people would
Have a hard time getting out of bed
I didn’t mind though, I loved to walk down
The center of the Road I know so well
And kneel down under the street lamp and run my fingers through
The first snow the season
Ah! What a feeling!

If only I could find words to fit
The emotion that follows
Me to the air, cold, and yet not alone
I stand waiting for winter.
Here I am.
And I am ready.
