seeing the infant Jesus and the feelings connected with it.
I saw a little child
Laid in a manger bare
Breathing oh so softly
So peaceful was He there

His mother was so gentle
Her tender love was shown
This love that was created
Throughout the world is known

I saw a little child
His place in life defined
Never to be known
By the wicked nor the blind

This little one so lovely
So tender,sweet,and fair
An offering from heaven
A love for us to share.
