My Entry - Thank You

Just two days after joining WDC, a kind anonymous soul donated a three-month upgraded membership to me. I had only one story in my portfolio at the time, so I wasn't sure why they did it. It took me a while to realize the enormity of their gift. A three-month upgraded membership costs 199,500 gift points. That translates to $19.50 in American dollars. That's a decent bit of money to give to some random newbie. It helped me to realize that there were people on this site who wanted me to continue writing, and this was their way of showing it. I doubt I'll ever find out who that caring person was, but I've learned to share the wealth. I donate as many GP's as I can spare with each review that I give. I hope that they keep new writers writing.

As for me, I'm still just a petty newbie, but I know that there are good people out there, who are always willing to help a young author out. This goes out to all of those people and especially to that kind soul who donated an upgraded membership to me.
