It's up to the reader to see it in their own way
Breathing longing dying
The suit is itching a girl is crying
The crowd applauds the actors
But who do they fool to them nothing matters

Again the girl keeps on weeping
And I ask myself why am I seeping
Why does not the crowd not be silent
Are they clapping like they are on auto-pilot

Why am I just standing here
Am I under the influence of some dark fear
Why is she crying
Could she be dying

Why do you cry little girl in your red dress
Are you abused or perhaps oppressed
Those beautiful eyes those sad little eyes
Your the only one whose sad your the only one that cries

The curtains close and we are gone
And we all say so long
Where are you little girl
You were to me like a pearl

You died little girl you left me
But why will you not let me be
I love you little girl but please move on
For in my heart you are never gone
