Do you live in a level higher than ordinary reality? This poem deals with this feeling.
I live in a dreamland
just an inch
above reality.

Strong words, mistakes
wake me up...for
a while.

Easing into
my land of dreams
with imperceptible ease.

I see you,
I hear you,
I cannot feel you.

In my waking dreams
thorns beneath my feet
are muted.

I pray to God
to rouse me from my
waking dream.

I will awake...
Slave master reality
will whip me
till I awake.
