A poem about child abuse
She was the prettiest little girl,
That I had ever laid eyes on.
The sweetest five year old around,
But now shes gone.

Her daddy always drunk,
And he didnt love her that much.
He would get drunk and angry,
And hit her until she couldnt clutch.

Blue eyes turn black,
And she cries alone.
Golden blond hair turns red,
From all the blood because she had grown.

Never done anything wrong,
Sweetest girl around.
She always looked her best,
Until her dad got drunk and would begin to unwind.

Her mother had died in birth,
Give the world a lovely gift.
But her dad hated her,
Because without his wife he went adrift.

Then one day he got too drunk,
And now beneath the ground she lays.
He hit the sweetest girl ever too many times,
And now her soul begins to raise.

Headed to heaven is what she always wanted,
Away from the anger and pain.
Because he is what killed her,
This was her bane.

Now in jail her dad lives,
Because he hit the sweetest girl ever.
And she walks in heaven, with God by her side,
Again she will feel pain no never!
