Crow, the mythical Trickster disappoints God
Crow’s Inappropriate Timing

It was time to die,
Yet Crow was born.
It was time to uproot,
Yet Crow planted himself.
It was time to heal,
Yet Crow maimed and killed.
It was time to build,
Yet Crow brought civilisation to its knees.
It was time to weep,
Yet Crow laughed.
It was time to mourn,
Yet Crow, delightedly danced.
It was time for silence,
Yet Crow called out.
It was time to love,
Yet Crow hated.
It was time for peace,
Yet Crow waged war.

God – disappointed, shook his head and turned away.
