My sister was in a car accident and this poem is about her time in the hospital.
Lights shining
Walls gleaming white
We pass many rooms
Till 437 is in sight

We're on the fourth floor
Just walking, walking
Till we enter the room
There she lies
Silent;not talking

Lights shining
Walls gleaming white
Memories of
That sleepless night

Emergency rooms
Telephone calls
Walking down
Running down
The endless halls

Till I cannot run anymore
Till I cannot cry anymore

Can't Speak
Can't Hear
Heart Beating
In my ear

Till the lights go out
The walls seem gray
And someone rips
My heart away
And never gives it back
