I wrote this poem about the man I love.
I feel the breeze
The sun is hot
The clear blue sky
Of Camelot

I feel the touch
Smooth and soft
Lying there
In the loft

I see the boy
The grown-up man
He makes me feel
Like I can't stand

My heart is beating
Faster now
Now it's beating
Beating slow

Two hearts in one
Our souls will meld
The tenderness
Of being held

I love the brown
The blonde; the white
Memories of
The wonderful night

I can't believe
That when we're done
Though he's right beside me
I feel alone

The day is long
The hour short
Will he say yes?
Or will it hurt?

My blood runs thick
My darkness flows
As memories
Know who he chose

And yet the light
Floods in on me
It takes a lifetime
But then I see

The love inside
Cannot die
He loves me so
He cannot lie

Here we walk
Hand in hand
Eye to eye
Woman to man

We love each other
There is no lack
I love him so
He loves me back
