A poem on how the rain comforted me when I broke my ankle
I wish the rain would fall


The rain doesn’t fall today

Although I wish it would

We have no words to speak today

No thoughts that are any good

The sun is shining bright up high

I wait for it to fall

For the moon is a companion of mine

When I can’t stand up tall

Time passes slowly, all I do is wait

Its harder than it looks

No where to be going, no where to be late

Lots of time for books

The rain doesn’t fall today

Although I wish it would

It would help the days go by

Till I’m doing what I should.
