My sister asked me... Will you write me a poem about young love?
Visions of Sugarplums?
Not in my head!
I'm thinking of boys
When I climb into bed.

This boy in particular,
He's one of a kind.
I leave his name unspoken,
But he's always on my mind.

I long to run my fingers
Through his dark, silky hair;
Whenever I just need to talk,
Guess who's always there?

The perfect friend, I must admit,
But I want so much more.
Why can't I tell him how I feel?
Isn't that what friends are for?
