this is for my mom...
One day you were here and the next were gone
we had no idea what went wrong.
You were my mother, my friend,
the one I could always count on til the end.
you were there when I needed a shoulder to cry on
a hug, a kiss, or just to listen
you always made me feel like I was special.

One morning you called, "I don't feel good."
you said
I took you to the hospital, 12 hours later
you were dead.
Why god, why?
Why did my mom have to die?
You took her to heaven, for that I am glad,
because now she is finally with my dad.
