Mythology,
Words, once displayed in the great

Hall of the Ancients. Spoken

Truths direct from the oldest

Of the ancient ones, documented by

The scribe to the Gods.

Our days as immortals pull on through

Existence. I watch as societies grow and

Fade, both mortal and immortal disappearing

Into oblivion as millenniums pass, the old

Burns out and the new blooms for a time,

Before dying. As dark and light battle

For dominance neither realizing the need

For true balance.

I say to all who will heed my words,

The darkness is not always evil and

The light is not always good. Listen

To my words young ones and heed it

If you can. To save your existence

You must find a true balance.

It will not be easy and one day I

Am certain, these words will

Be lost. Ancient texts,

Remembered as myth, hidden

Because of fear in the hearts of

Man. Who seek to destroy

The balance. I shall do all I

Can to protect the truths that

I have imparted. Until I too

Am forgotten as yesterdays mist

Faded on the horizon. On that

Day it will be up to those who

Exist in the realms to hold

The truths.
