Just a little poem
Hands shaking from the frigid temperature
Dang this place I recall thinking
I continue on though
Needing to walk
To clear my mind
Listening to the snow fall
As I feel it melt
It grazes my burning skin
Leaving me dripping
Feeling like forceful rain
It would please me
If it all came pouring down
Too cold for that though
In my heart, soul, heart and the air
Deep breaths
In and out
Counting to ten
That hasn’t worked since I don’t know when
Only fooling myself
I walk on
A couple miles turns into hours
I start back
Not wanting to but too easy going
To break the rules
Never was the rebellious type
Watching the sky change colors
I wonder
Question life
The good and bad
Standing in the flurries
To any bystander
Might even be considered all right
Nothing in this place is right
Right doesn’t describe this place
This way
