This poem is a metaphor that has arisen in some works as of late...
LANDSCAPE

In the landscape of intellect
The cognizance grows
While the thermal protection
Tucks its tail as it goes
The wind,
Not the mercury
Relentlessly grows

the branches ascending to some unknown height
of propritious prose
or prophetic palaver
or Blurbs that go Bump in the night

The shortgrass of streetsmarts
Have set things ablaze
The firefighters...
Righteous
Will emerge from the haze
And the innocents saved

And with prolific patter
The landscape continues

and the tall grass ascends to new heights
