What's left in the midnight air?
Brought on display,
A heartless lamentation,
A feeling of utter deception
Articulate the bitter sweet
And stand upon your sore feet

Swoon and fall to the ground
Simple displeasures,
Come break me down

The stars transform in the sky
And the glass blinds my cold eyes
A chill crosses the open air
As the distant angels’ grace shows fair

A midnight blush is all that’s left
No time can tell of angers theft
In dancing flames and orange light
A treasure is buried from hope and sight
So bid farewell this destined plight
