im mad at you
today i hate
though, on the clock, most of my smiles and empathy are fake
there will be none of that today
i'll just be numb
pretending it will all work itself out
and you should know not to face me
on a day apathy swallows all my rage
emotionless
i might hurt you
then afterwords, it will swallow all the remorse of what i 've done
so let my blank silence guide your instincts
for if that moment becomes present, we'll both have hell to pave
