This is a poem I wrote, about a relationship, and is based an a real situation.
The words hit me,
my heart fell,
touched the ground,
a crack ran through it.
A tear rolled down my cheek.

Yet, before my heart could break,
it was picked up,
taped together,
put back where it belonged.
good as new.

Yet, the crack was still there,
the tear had fallen,
hit the ground.
the ground will dry.
A body fixes a crack in a bone.

A crack in the heart can be filled.
fixed.
