It comes and goes; laughter.
. . .

Laughter

Laughter, my God, is it suppose to be free?
I swear who I am, its vanished from me.
Perhaps I look in the wrong place all the time.
I hope for the best, and pray I’ll be fine.

Wishing wellness does not help me find
Stitch roaring laughter to help course my time.
What I do find again, and again,
Brings me no laughter, nothing but dread.

Wait is that funny? No not at all.
Should I start laughing at nothing at all?
Should I laugh round the corner?
Laugh in my bed?
Laugh brushing my teeth,
At that funny sound in my head?

I guess I’ll search laughter all of my days,
Having a chuckle seems so far away.
I’m not concerned, because I know for sure.
Loads of great laughter will soon be at my door.
