A poem contemplating nudity in public
Yesterday I forgot my bra
Today I forgot my pants
Tomorrow I’ll forget all my clothes
And naked I shall dance

At first I’ll feel embarrassed
Vulnerable and scared
I’ll try to hide my body
Find something new to wear

I’ll wish I hadn’t done it
I’ll want to disappear
What if people think I’m ugly
What if they shout and leer?

But what if people join me?
What if they all forget their clothes?
What if we all free our bodies
And dance naked in the road?

Yesterday I forgot my bra
Today I forgot my pants
Tomorrow I’ll forget all my clothes
And naked I shall dance
