Learning that life helps shape and mold you into the woman you need to be
I have flaws like any other
I am a daughter, I am a mother
I have doubts and I have fears
I've cried endless rivers of tears
I've broken hearts; and been broken hearted.
I've taken roads only ending where I started.
I've used and been used;
Been emotionally and physically abused.
I've accomplished and I've failed
Through devastation, some how I've prevailed.
I have exhausted my financial means; for the love of material things.
I have worked and I've been played
And for my transgressions I have paid.

I'm not perfect,
But I am real.
I am a woman.
I am so for real.

I am life giver.
I am a life.
Daily I sacrifice.
I struggle and I give.
I struggle just to live.
I struggle just to survive.
By grace only am I alive.
Cause I have lied,
And I have cheated.
The same mistakes I have repeated.
I have stumbled over the same block;
Still stumbling over the same block.

I'm not perfect.
But I am real.
A woman who's joy no one can steal.

Because I've made it over,
The bridge of pain.
And my sanity I have maintained.
Cause no one knows the trouble I've seen,
Or how many times God's intervened.
By His grace only am I alive,
Cause so may times I could've died.
I could have died, but I'm still here.
I could have died, but I'm still here.

I have no shame for my past faults.
No need to get back what's been lost.
Cause I've been made through my troubled times.
I found me in these hard times.

I found a woman, tangible, real.
A woman who's joy no one can steal.
I am a woman; this is my truth.
I've become a woman through trials of my youth.

I am a woman.
I am triumph.
I am strength.
I am honor.
I am love.
I am protection.
I am perfection.
I am perseverance.
I am pride.
I am confidence.
I am courage.
I am beauty.
I am blessed.
I have passed love's true test.
And proven that I have love for self if nothing else.
I am tangible, I am real
A woman who's joy no one can steal.
