This is a school assignment that I did about a year ago don't be too harsh!
Please read and rate and if possible review also! Thanks!

The assignment: We had to create a new holiday and using poetry explain the celebration. Being that there was no holidays that I celebrate anyways, I had to come up with something totally original. So I thought I'd do something that I truly believe in, the paradise that the bible talks about that will soon be here on earth. So this is the best that I could do, its short I know! hope you enjoy!

INTRODUCTION:

What is this Paradise of which I speak?

Just wait and you will see.......

The Day of Paradise

We once lived in turmoil, toil and pain and needed relief
while the whole world went insane.
We wondered what the solution would be

But we had to wait and see........

Paradise, a garden of pleasure and of
beauty no one can measure.
The day drew near, although we knew
not the date or year.
It could not be foretold by any worldy seer,

So we had to wait and see..........

When that day did come like a thief in the night,
good triumphed over evil with it's righteous might.
And when the smoke of battle cleared, what would
the coming day bring?

We just had to wait and see........

A paradise so filled with glee, a place
of peace and tranquil security.
We celebrate this glorious place of happiness
beyond measure, where beauty abounds in
this land of pleasure, will you be there to see
that awe inspiring treasure?

We'll just have to wait and see...........
